Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Review
Written by Disgruntled Plumber - Monday, Nov 28, 2022 at 5:39am
Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have been out for a short amount of time and boy do we have plenty to say about it. As usual, there have been several complaints about the graphics and overall lack of quality. But there is one cardinal sin that the Pokemon games just can't get right. Keep reading for our full review of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
1. There are no Warios
That's right. Yet again, another Pokemon game with absolutely zero Wario representation. Not a single "Wah" can be heard throughout the entire 15 minutes we spent playing it. This serious lack of quality is unforgivable and already brings our review to a solid 0/10.
2. Wario themed outfits are missing
Yes. You read that right. Not even a single outfit resembles Our Brave Yellow-Cladded Hero. No crooked mustaches, no purple overalls with green shoes, nothing.
3. No DLC to add Wario as a Pokemon
It's sad enough to say that Wario isn't a playable character - but not being able to see this representation in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in any form is truly heartbreaking.
We could go on for a while about this misrepresentation of Nintendo characters, but it hurts enough to write this far. Despite lying about playing the game at all and only judging based on vague screenshots in Nintendo fan-led forums, this has been our most honest review thus far.
