Wario Ware Is Finally Coming to the Switch

As announced in today's 2021 Nintendo Treehouse Live E3 presentation, there is finally a new WarioWare game coming to the switch!
YES. FINALLY. A good game coming to the Switch. While other games have included Wario, none have given the character the glorifying justice he deserves - at least not in a disgusting cultural appropriation way such as the Wario outfits in Mario Odyssey. True, Wario has been in Super Smash Brothers for some time, but that game is packed so full of characters that we don't count it. Plus, Wario does not have a sword in Super Smash Brothers, and we all know that the main characters in SSBU are the sword fighters. Perhaps Nintendo could make Super Smash Brothers into an actual good game by changing Wario into a sword fighter, but that is a sensitive topic that we'll save for another article.
The Wario game dry spell is finally coming to an end with the release of WarioWare: Get It Together on the Nintendo Switch. It looks like this game is flaunted as a two player game. We're still finding out why this is considered an impressive feature, since past WarioWare titles were 4 player. However, this doesn't take away from the excitement to see what they make of this hero. Or how adorable the announcement was being framed as a title created by Wario himself as a company owner. His charming voice blessed us with the narration of the trailer.
It is now safe to say that E3 2021 has been saved. Wario is once again seeing the light of day as a non-villain character, and getting a small fraction of the love he deserves. While we were hoping for a Wario Odyssey announcement, we will settle with Wario Ware for the time being. We can only hope that this is just the start of Nintendo's focus from the evil capitalist Mario to our fun-loving quirky hero.
